I have had this coffee maker since February and simply love it. It make my daily 4 cups and when needed can make up to 14 cups of perfectly brewed coffee. I finally figured out Cuisinart's secret to good coffee, using a cone shape filter instead of a round flat one. The water filters through more coffee, resulting in a better cup. It even has a selection button for bold and 1-4 cups. I was so pleased with Cuisinart's quality, that I purchased their Toaster Oven Air Fryer TOA60 (also very pleased) and if I need another small appliance, Cuisinart brand will the first I look at.

I had the 12 cup for over 10 years and one day it just died. I found a Kitchenaid that had a removable water reservoir which is a feature I really like--seriously bad choice. The condensation was horrible and the decanter would not pour without spilling--every time. I tried a store brand and that was awful and I returned it. I went back to Cuisinart and I am delighted. Perfect coffee, no spilling, and, due to the cone filter design, the water goes through ALL of the coffee. I am sold on Cuisinart and I will not buy another brand.
