We bought the Cuisinart after our Hamilton Beach finally gave out after years of faithful service. We like the look and functionality of our new appliance; however, there is an annoying design flaw. To that end, when the top lid is opened to add water and coffee, water condensation pours down the back of the machine and on to my counter. Otherwise, it is a great machine.

We had a 12 cup Cuisinart for probably at least 15 years that recently stopped working. After reading many reviews on a variety of coffee makers, we decided to stay with the Cuisinart. It is the same size as our 12 cup was, which is perfect for our coffee bar. A new feature that I love with the 14 cup is that you can see the water level on the outside of the coffee maker. We don't always want a full pot, this makes it very easy to gauge the amount of water needed. Very pleased with this purchase!
