Very happy with new coffee pot. Love the ability to make 14 cups if needed. Basket for grounds keep me from having to but paper filters. Option for Bold Brew is nice too.

I bought this coffee maker about a month ago. It has great features. I like to be able to see the water level which I couldn't with my previous version. This coffeemaker produces great tasting coffee and I like how you have the option to make the carafe plate hotter, or the coffee more bold. I had the previous version of this coffeemaker for many years and am happy with the upgrades this new version provides. I would recommend it.

Glass Carafe Leaks

Purchased in December 2017. Only complaint is with the Glass Carafe. The black band around the top is not tight so coffee gets trapped and goes back into the carafe when pouring. The same thing happens when washing; water constantly leaks from the black band and needs repeated drying that requires sitting overnight on a dish towel with a dish towel inside to catch the constant leaks inside and out. The handle is also not tight so water also gets trapped between the handle and glass carafe. Definitely would not have purchased if I knew about the poor quality of the carafe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
