I had bought a Cuisinart at an Estate Sale, however it had the stainless steel carafe, which I was not fond of. I searched online, and read the reviews and decided to try this one. I Love it! Much easier to see where the water is going, as it has a gauge on the side. I like to be able to make up to 14 cups, if need be. I turn the "ready" alert off, as I don't need to be reminded when it is done. The coffee taste is fabulous. I would highly recommend!

After 53 years of marriage and many "average" coffeemakers, I decided to treat myself to a Cuisinart because many of my friends have them and I had noticed a big difference in the flavor of the coffee a Cuisinart makes. I paid more for it than previous coffeemakers, but the superior coffee that it makes is well worth the price difference. I highly recommend it and rank it a 5 start product.

this coffee pot does have great features but sometimes it has a mine of i'ts own it dosen't always beep when It's done or the light may come on stating it needs cleanning after you just cleaned it

Spend a lot more on fresh roasted coffee beans that I grind myself. Water temperature of the Cuisinart results in a great cup of coffee and easy to follow and use features
