I like pretty much everything about this coffee maker except how one fills it. Very difficult to pour water into the channel and watch the level on the side at the same time if one is right handed.

This is a great coffeemaker! I read the reviews before buying it - some said it was hard to program? I didn’t think so, but that’s just my opinion. It does use a cone filter or the little gold basket it comes with - of course I only had the round filters! And make sure the holder is all the way in or you get a mess! But the temp on the carafe holder is wonderful! The hot is the hottest I’ve ever had! My husband is delighted. All in all - a great purchase.

Fair. This is a replacement for the same type of machine. The previous one rusted on the inside (hose clamps) and leaked water finally dumping about half a pot of water on the counter. One clamp was not in the correct position to hold the tube in place. The plastic on the back side of the warming plate became brittle and broke out. The warming plate is adequate, but not hot enough for my taste. The coffee gets cold before I can finish half the cup (on the Hot setting). The water filter does not want to stay in place and floats up when adding water, so just how good is it for filtering the water? The new one is black stainless and looks good on the counter. Time will tell if it rusts and leaks or not.

This is the second time we purchased this same coffeemaker, the first one lasted almost 12 years but when we purchased the exact one to replace it it only lasted a 3 years, so disappointed in the quick failure compared to what I have come to expect and rely on from Cuisinart, it truly makes me question purchasing one of their products in the future!

No Tolerance for this repalcement to easy to fail

While it is nearly impossible to believe with this replacing my old unit, I hate this one. Several times we have had flooding over of grains and coffee it we happen to now push the plastic basket holder for the filter into a tiny slot and be sure we push it down all the way or it fails to open the button valve on the bottom to flow into the coffee pot below. Cleaning this mess is a hour long process that leaves residue no matter how hard we try. HATE THIS! You need to redesign this flaw this a drop it in and drop the lid.

This coffeemaker is great with two surprising (though slight) flaws. The first is, the lid on the coffeemaker won't go back far enough for you to pour all the water out of the pot into the maker. It takes a bit of experimenting to find an angle that will work. The second is, because of the plastic rim around the lip of the coffee pot, you can't get all the coffee into your cup, some gets stuck behind the plastic ridge. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent coffeemaker.

I have had to replace this coffee pot 3 times because of the heating plate chipping. Just received my 3rd replacement and it is chipping also!!! All within the last year. Never buying this brand again!
