Makes a great cup of coffee. Works well. I chose the black stainless because I thought it stood out by having a color you don’t see as often.
The only issue I’ve found but isn't something that would cause me to change my mind over purchasing the product is filling the reservoir. It’s a bit awkward to do, you have small areas in the back corners to pour your water into without accidently spilling water into the cone area for your grounds. So if you’re not running the maker immediately after filling I would not place the grounds into the basket area until you’ve already added the water to the reservoir. Other than that it’s a great product and looks great too.

I was so excited to use our new 14 cup Quisinart until the first overflow happened.
It would not do it every time so I knew it had to be something I was doing wrong.
I read the "trouble shooting" advice & bought different kinds grinds of coffee thinking that was the problem but that did not help. Then I realized that the lid was not centered in the middle of the spring as the water tried to flowed thru the pot. Since the pot fits loose on the hot plate it doesn't always hit the release spring above. Now it is fine & I love it.

Works very well, like the variable keep warm temperatures, strength of brew and shut off times. Looks great on granite counter next to stainless refrigerator. Had a previous model for years and when the timer/clock function died, looked specifically for a replacement Cuisinart.!!
