Looks good on my countertop. When using any setting beyond the 1st one things were burnt so be careful! - Not sure if this is a fault and how anyone would use up to setting 6....I think it would cause a fire!

Toasts well enoughbut missing a couple of features

This toaster is ready to use and the slots are nice and wide, fitting crumpets and halved bagels with no problem.
The build quality is solid, but the levers feel somewhat flimsy. I miss the ability to lift the toast for checking its progress, and once done, smaller items are difficult to remove as the levers don't raise them high enough.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great toaster and easy to operate. Wide slots to take unsliced bread. Heats really quickly and toast evenly. Much quicker that my old Delonghi. Smaller to overall but takes large slices. Loved the pistachio colour to as ver fresh looking.

Poor and erratic performance

Having been delighted with my Cuisinart ice cream maker, I expected this item to be equally good, but I have been very disappointed. It looks nice and feels reasonably well made, but that's about it. The toasting is VERY uneven - the slice comes out burnt at the top but untouched at the bottom (and it's not a huge slice, it fits completely in the toaster). As for the bagel (one-side) setting, the side that's meant to be toasted comes out ok while the side that's meant to be untoasted comes out completely burnt! To their credit, Cuisinart provided a replacement but its performance was identical.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
