This microwave only worked briefly. While it worked it was very powerful and the features were great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Here is something you can try: reset the internal electronics by disconnecting power to the microwave for 30 seconds and then reconnect power. Great compact countertop model

Sweet compact microwave fits great on my counter top. I wanted a counter top model because I am short and can never reach the over the range model I had before. Powerful and efficient.

Disappointed!

This is a replacement for a previous one that lasted much less than a year. The previous one just quit heating and was making a terrible noise when it quit. GE opted to not repair the original one and we had to replace it with another GE item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Typical Microwave

The product heats as advertised, nothing special. It has some quirks, although the food is in the oven and ready to go, one has to open and close the door in order to start. It will , like most appliances, last about 4 years, too bad the warranty doesn't last 4 years.
