Buttons aren't good

I didn't receive an Instruction manual so many features are unknown to me. The buttons easy to locate and push. Have no idea what the food codes are. I wish the display was lit up so you could see what the buttons were easier. It seems to cook and defrost well once you get it to go. I think I'm going to return it if possible and replace with one where the features are easier to figure out and comes with Istructions
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The microwave is the right size for the space available, and at 1150 watts has more power than the item it replaced. Now if it will last the 20 years the last one did it will be great.
