Not difficult to use, but hard to get it to work.

This microwave is often difficult to use as the "buttons" don’t respond to touch. Sometimes it requires an easy touch, sometimes a hard one, & sometimes it works easily. I find it frustrating when it isn’t functioning easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave is so easy to use and has the power of a full size microwave. My daughter has special needs and this microwave is intuitive in design and use. I specifically shopped for this model number based on my past experience with the GE profile appliances and the Consumer Reports recommendation/review.
