Love GE microwave oven

I had a counter top GE microwave oven lasted 19 years. We shopped around 6 electric appliances retailers for a new one. After review various of brands and models, we made the decision to get a similar GE microwave oven again. We started using and loving it.

We replaced a GE that had crapped out on us twice so I was hesitant to buy another one. We have owned it for about a month. We used it close to daily (mainly to heat up leftovers), and it works really well. I saw on 1 review that there was concern of it continuing to run after the time was up, but it is only about 3-5 seconds. It warms things evenly. Intuitive to use. Looks nice with all the other stainless steel appliances.

Best Microwave I've Ever Owned

So my panasonic microwave was working intermittently and I bought another and it wouldn't work at all. I found this G.E. at Lowes and it works better than any microwave I've ever owned. I would definitely buy again!

The touchpad is too hard to push for an elderly person to operate. I would have thought that it would be easier to select the timer numbers.

I had a GE that after many years I retired it. I bought one (not a GE) that I though would work for me. It didn't - I hated it! I looked until I found the model JES1657DMWW. I bought it, picked it up and I love it. It has all the features I wanted and it is 1200W so it heats up quicker than those less than 1200W
