Nice size at a modest price

Took some getting used to as the controls were located in different place from similar GE unit owned previously. Stated power seems to last for 2 or 3 uses then falls off as many dishes (based on 1100w) need 5-10 sec longer than the package says.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Features MISSING

Before this new microwave we had a larger GE. This new one lacks several features and is not nearly as nice.
Before: "Vegetable" would print the words "Fresh", "Frozen", or "Canned"
Now: It says 1,2,or 3. I have to guess or remember which number for which type of vegetable I am cooking.
Before: I could see through the window in the front of the microwave to tell if water was boiling or how something was cooking.
Now: I cannot see through the dark window. Why did they even put in a window that no one can see through?
Before: "Beverage" warmed my cup of water to just the right temperature.
Now: My beverage is just luke-warm! I have to reheat it.
Reheat: also gives you just a number, not an explanation of what they mean. One must keep the owners manual close and keep checking it! I AM NOT IMPRESSED!
When I purchased it, the new microwave advertised the different buttons so I assumed they would work the same....NOT! They have cheapened their models. Is it any wonder that we buy foreign made dishwashers and sewing machines to get quality? American manufacturers wake up!
It also burns the popcorn before the corn has stopped popping rapidly.
I wish I could have my old microwave back, but it died.

The good points of the new one are:
Potatoes are not overcooked when baked.
It is quieter.
Vegetables cook perfectly IF you can remember whether to press 1, 2, or 3.
The timer works well during something else being cooked.
