So far so good

We are having some issues with transferring knowledge from our old Amana Radar Range, which we owned for 20 years. Functions with this unit generally are more programmed and result in surprises. As we get more familiar with it, however, it is pretty clear we have a winner here.

Works great, very fast and spacious

Product works well, just as you would expect. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is that when you cook something that produces a lot of steam, steam gets between the glass plates in the door and takes a while to dissipate. GE says this is "normal", but I have never had a microwave do that before. Plus, it give me less confidence that the door is sufficiently sealed to protect my family from microwaves.

A few things we'd change

Don't like the shiny finish as it shows fingerprints. Also, it's not as intuitive to operate as our old microwave. That said, it functions fine and, more importantly, fits in the footprint of our old one.
