Good Basic Microwave at a reasonable price

This unit replaced our old GE microwave that finally wore out. The new unit is more quiet and seems more powerful than the old unit even though the wattages were similar. We found that we could reduce the cycle time by half at the same power setting.

On 12/20 I replace an appliance for this microwave I love the size features express button and quick release door latch I truly love it

Having 6 people living in our house, we use our microwaves a fair amount. I wouldn't say OVER using, just basic heating, or reheating. Also, it is well maintained, cleaned (when necessary) & taken care of.
However, we are now on our 3rd GE microwave within the past 24 months. They just stopped heating/working?

Lifeline less than 2 years

I bought this microwave on April 19, 2023. It died on March 24, 2025. Not even 2 years. I am the only person in the household so it was used daily mainly to reheat coffee and occasional frozen dinners. GE used to be trustworthy but that is no longer the case.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
