We are replacing a GE microwave model # JES1451 that we bought in 2010. It gave us 14 years of trouble free operation. I was pleased with its performance, but we did not expect it to last forever. I just hope we get the same enjoyment from our new purchase. It has the same great features as what we are used to.

This microwave does not heat food effectively or evenly for that matter. It also gives me an error sign often, and I have to unplug it and replug it in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
