I have purchased GE products since 1976, while I like and know them, they last shorter and shorter and i did not have the option to purchase the trim that i wanted due to chip shortages, but I will continue to buy GE products.

Very practical and powerful but noisy.

So far it's been really strong and working well. It's more noisy than our previous GE microwave but more powerful. Upon start-up, it makes a pretty loud hum/buzz (I'm guessing a noisy transformer for the magnetron). The keypad layout is nice and simple - very practical and usable. Not so many bells and whistles that confuse someone and never get used. It's got plenty of room inside.

Decent machine but didn't last too long

This microwave worked well for 3 1/2 years before it started having electrical problems and we had to replace it. Power and size were good with good features but it started not turning on when you pressed start. The timer would start but that was it. Too expensive to repair so time to replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This GE microwave stopped working after only 3 years due to wiring issues. I won’t recommend buying this model.

It is a good microwave. Not super quiet but not too loud either. Seems to be of good quality. It offers express cook and cook time which is nice. Pretty good size inside with a 16" plate. No Complaints.

GE Black Stainless Steel Microwave

I've only had this microwave a month. So, you can't really tell longevity and any problems or lack thereof by my review, but so far I love it, and that is based on the looks of the microwave. It matches my other black stainless steel appliances. I also love the sleek look of not having a handle on the microwave. The microwave works fine and I have no problems, but also it is brand new. So, I hope I continue to have a good experience.
