Broke after 30 months of normal use.

Mfd. April 2021, I bought it September 2021. Used on average once per day. A part in the door broke February 2024, making the unit inoperable. Like if it was plugged in, it just hummed and spun my trapped mug of tea around. Forever.
The Internet says there is a fix, just get your own part and settle down for the evening to learn about microwaves. Or pay GE $hundreds just for the visit.
This wasn't even a cheap microwave!

Reliable and convenient operating design

This is my third GE microwave. The first one lasted a few years. The second one lasted only 14 months; but, at least the controls were consistent -- including the Express Cook buttons (essential).
I tried another 2-letter brand microwave next; but, it lasted only 2 weeks before arcing and smoking (on potato in wax paper). Just as well --the operating instructions required pressing too many buttons and were in paragraph form, more than a page long.
This, then, is my third GE microwave (replacing the competitor microwave -- which wasn't supported online, so no droid diagnosis, not so smart).
I'm disappointed that the 00:00:30 button is in a new location on the GE 1.6 cu.ft. model. It will be more difficult for elderly people who are losing central vision to AMD; but, I cut out a frame of bright yellow paper, and I taped it to the control panel, so that she can feel it, and heat the instant coffee and oatmeal.
FWIW, 00:00:30 with a lid was very, very hot.
So far, so good.
