Awesome Replacement for Microwave That Died

Our previous microwave didn't have the wattage that this microwave has. We have had to re-learn cook times for the microwave dinners we cook. Due to the fact that it cooks the food faster, I suspect that means we will save on our energy bill over the year.

Excellent replacement

Our old, beloved GE microwave finally died, and this is an almost exact replacement in size, power and features. The turntable mechanism seems to be improved over our old one. The only issue is that the control panel needs higher-contrast lettering on the buttons, they can be hard to read.

Pleased with the unit, but the display options are dim, therefore hard to read. Needs brighter lettering or a way to energize a background light. I also have the 2.0 CF model and that is so much easier to read. In addition, I have both units and it is frustrating that the layouts are very different. It would help if unit displays were similar in layout, especially since the functions are nearly identical.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of features that are very useful--defrost, reheat, and add 30 seconds--plus the one touch buttons for potatoes/vegetables. Had an older version of this and the bottom was peeling after several years. I loved the old one so much I bought the same one except it's a little larger and more powerful. I've been using this one for over a month and so far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
