This is the second GE microwave (same model) we've purchased within 3 months. Hope this new one lasts longer. So far, so good.

Great Microwave ! Door opens and closes so easy . Stainless steel is very pretty . Love the soft light inside microwave ! Easy to use

Very Dim Control panel light

The back light of the clock is extremely dim, enven at night with no lights on its very had to see. the oven unit itself is fine but the dim lighting makes it hard to confirm the time or fuction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

functions, fine… So far…

I have no complaints about this particular microwave except perhaps the touchscreen isn’t very sensitive. My complaint is entirely with GE. I only bought this microwave because it fit my wall trim from my previous GE microwave, which I had bought less than a year before. I’ve bought several GE appliances over the last few years, and every single one of them has turned out to be a lemon. But for the need to economically fit a matching (white) microwave into my wall space I would never have purchased this GE or any GE.

Died after 18 months

This microwave worked fine until about 1.5 years after we bought it when it just flat out died. It’s outside of the 1 year warranty so its essentially a disposable microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
