Absolutely Love my GE Microwave

I have always loved and trusted GE products. My refrigerator and Range are both GE. The Microwave was a wise addition to my kitchen, the color was perfect and matching the rest of the appliances, not to mention the great quality and its operational features. I am loving my purchase and will always praise GE products because they are durable, reliable and efficient!

They seem to survive for 4 to 5 years

This is the fourth time in 15 years that i've ordered this exact Microwave because it fits exactly in an under-counter cubby in my kitchen. They work great, until they don't. I had to replace the first fully built-in one after 5 years because the latch broke--the door wouldn't close properly. The second microwave I fried by setting the timer to 10 minutes instead of 1 minute. Oops. The third one just stopped working one day, and the appliance repair guy said it'd be cheaper and easier to just replace it than to fix it. So they work great, until they don't.

First one had faulty door, second one’s beeper sounds like it was run over by a truck, and it cannot be turned off. Buttons must be pushed with force. Hoped for better than, “Guess I can live with it,” but that’s where we are. Our previous GE microwave lasted 25 years. I’ll be surprised if this one goes half that distance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The one point six cubic foot interior.

This is a fantastic microwave big and powerful. The fact that it is a GE is another positive. Dinner plate reheat who doesn't use that popcorn who doesn't use that. The defrost ask for weight and or time.
