We had the same model for the past 8 years. Everything looks similar but after talking with the retailer by phone expected the cord to have a flush mount plug and not the standard straight plug. the wall mounted receptacle lines up directly behind the rear housing bringing the microwave too far out on the shelf. I voided the last microwave's warrantee by cutting off the standard plug and installing a flush mounted plug. Many of the larger GE models have this new type of plug. I'll either replace the plug and void the warrantee or move the receptacle up or to the side. Undecided at this time. It would be nice if GE would upgrade the plug on this model as GE has on other models.

This is our second purchase of this model microwave. The first one lasted several years and was perfect for our needs. This one is noticeably quieter. Great improvement.

This microwave is roomy and I really like the turntable moving the food as it heats it up more evenly. It’s easy to use and not too loud.
