This microwave replaces my '97 G.E. model. This 2023 model is the new version and I highly recommend this product to everyone that loves to cook.

GE JES1657S2SS Microwave - Great Replacement

Very good countertop microwave. Simple pushbutton controls that are same as our 25+ year unit that suddenly died, so now re-training required. The unit is not very heavy, so the hard plastic mounting feet allow it to slide around some when pushing buttons. Improved that by attaching circular, adhesive felt pads available at most any hardware store
I would recommend this to a friend!

Door sticks

The microwave is fine except after about 2 weeks the door sticks when you press the button to open it.

Appliance is very good, no issues. We did need to buy a wheel base for the rotating table to make turn more smoothly.

Fits in the space required, works as it should, replacing the exact same one after 3 years of service, used daily heavily, 3 years wasn't too bad of lifespan, considering the amount of grease and water vapor (boiling water) we have subjected it to.
I would recommend this to a friend!
