Already did this once. The lights that show the time, etc, on light up partially. We will be bringing it back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

solution for "scratched keypad"

To those who get "scratches on the keypad while trying to remove the yellow sticker" or get "bubbles on the keypad", there is a nearly-invisible film, which is easy to damage but really hard to see & remove. I could not pick it at the edge (at the yellow sticker that says "remove film"). I used duct tape to lift the film. GE, you need to use blue protective film here so we can see it. As for my 4-star review, the only negative is a tinny vibrating ringing sound after I close the door. The positives: This is the only microwave available in white stocked at any store in my county, and we still prefer white appliances over stainless. The 1.6 cu ft size is big enough for our largest containers, yet it is only slightly larger overall compared to our earlier 1.1 cu ft oven.

The microwave is spacious and heats evenly and quickly. I haven't figured how to effectively use the sensor functions of the unit yet but lol forward too find out.
