Our new GE 1100 watt countertop microwave is perfect for us. It's simple to use, with buttons for all our common needs and the sensor seems to work very well. It is also relatively quiet, which I really like. It also cleans easily. So far, I've had no complaints.

GE Quality microwave

We had to replace our 17 year old GE microwave after it finally quit working.
This one is very similar in all features except some cosmetic differences. It heats quickly and is a very nice size that will do everything that we will use it for. GE has always been a long lasting brand and this one will most likely follow that trend.
The only thing my wife doesn’t like since she’s vision impaired is that the clock/timer is pretty dim in comparison to the old one. The interior light is darker looking only because the black grating in glass is much darker. I see it just fine but that clock light could be a little brighter without being offensive to look at. We’re very happy with it so far.

Convenient touch panel

Very glad I chose this model. The front panel is clear and easy to use. The options are ones that I will use often, \unlike the microwave oven it is replacing. Having a timer that works independently from what is cooking is important. Also important is the sound of the chime. It is loud without being annoying. Everything about this microwave oven makes me glad I purchased it.
