Poor quality of the door latch release

Product so far works fine. But The door is sticky. It does not open when the door latch release on the right bottom is pressed. We have to press the release latch and pull the door outward for it to open
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're so glad to hear that your new microwave is working fine. That's great news! We're also sorry that you seem to be having issues with the door latch. It is best to open the door by pressing the center of the door latch release. When pressing in areas off center and further from it, the door latch may be more difficult to operate. This is normal for this unit.
However, if it is still doing this regardless of where the door latch release is being pressed, please take full advantage of your warranty and schedule a service appointment. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
