I had a GE microwave for 11 years and it never gave me any problems. So I decided to get another GE . And it has not disappointed me . Easy to use and better features than the last one I had . Thank you GE for a great product.

Only lasted two and a half years

I am quite disappointed with this GE microwave. It only lasted two and a half years. Now when you close the door the magnetron runs even though it should be off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Looking But Annoying Beeps

This microwave looks great and heats the food adequately. Unfortunately, it has an annoying beep to let you know when the food is ready. After reading the instructions and calling GE, I learned there is no way to eliminate the beep. Worse than the beep, are the reminder beeps that begin if you do not take the food out quickly enough. So, if you are in the middle of concentrating on something and want to wait to get that hot cup of coffee, you will hear a beep reminding you to get it. Other microwaves allow you to turn off the beep, either with the sound icon or by clicking on a specific number on the pad. Not this one. This is the first GE appliance that I don't like.. If you have young children or a newborn, do not make a hot drink late at night if you buy this microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE the way to GO!

I love GE Products. I have a GE Cafe Gas Stove sincew 2008 and love it. SO I'm looking forward to using this GE Microwave. I've had to return 2 other microwave product brand within 1 week for not working or came broken glass. GE is the way to Go
