This is a nice looking unit. Buttons are easy to see and display is bright. Like the one button 30 second add feature. Been using it a couple of months and are very happy with it so far.

Replacing existing

We had a built in GE microwave that was installed in the 80's. It went out in 2020 and we replaced it with this model because of the size. It lasted 16 months and failed. GE gave us a "Good Will Rebate Certificate" for $100 off the purchase of a replacement because it was out of warranty by four months. Hopefully this one last longer. Working with GE customer service was great.

Does what a microwave should do!

We needed a new microwave, this one fit in out space available. It is working well, as like one would expect a microwave to work. We seem to be happy with this choice. I tried several times to add a photo but keep getting error: "image too large."
I would recommend this to a friend!

We remodeled our kitchen in 2017 and went with the GE Profile line. The microwave was a microwave/dual convection oven which we thought would give us that "double-oven" feature since the trim for it matched the oven. Well, looks-wise it did but functionality-wise it was mediocre at best and we ended up never using the convection feature for half a decade. The door switches went out and opted for a replacement and this GE fit perfectly in the Profile trim and works GREAT! All the menu options feel about the same but it has MORE POWER and we love it! Our *only* dislike is the weak LED display for the time and the fact that it is italicized. If there was a feature to allow us to increase the display brightness and if it wasn't in italics it would have easily been a 5/5 no question.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall, happy with microwave. A little loud on startup. Love the reminder beep when something is left in the microwave. Defrost works great. Haven't tried the sensor cooking and the manual is really vague on how it works.
