I was looking for a comparable microwave to my GE JES1451 that died after 16 years. This model has about the same exterior dimensions as my old one plus has slightly more wattage and has a larger turntable. I didn't want something taking up more counter space than I was used to. I'm still learning about some of the features and some I haven't tried yet, but I'm confident that this was the best choice for me. There are 2 things I've noticed so far that I think can be improved. First, the interior light is not bright enough. It's too dim while cooking and when the door is opened. I can definitely notice a difference vs my older model. The second thing I noticed is that I have to press harder on the keypad, often times causing the microwave to shift on the counter. Overall I feel it's a good appliance and is reasonably priced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect countertop

This was an easy decision to purchase as I had my previous GE microwave for over 15 years. This model was closest to the one I had and has all the same wondeful features including the rehead and 30 second options which many other models don't have.
