I can use the microwave and timer at the same time. Doesn't vent on the top.

I am replacing my 20 year old GE microwave with this unit. What I like is how easy it is to use, very quiet and the clock numbers are a bit bigger than in the past and easier to see! While a bit smaller than my 2.2 - it fit perfectly in the cubby and will continue to be a workhorse. If I can get 20 years out of this one too! I’ll be very happy. Well done GE. Simple, nice looking and easy to use!

We love our new GE Microwave! We're replacing our old GE Microwave that lasted almost 20 years! That's unheard of these days! This microwave is simple, just like our old one, and it even has the info taped to the inside front opening for help, so we don't have to look it up...(that's for my husband to use..ha!) Thank you, GE, for ALWAYS making your products last a long time, easy to use, and reasonably priced! We're lifelong GE fans!

Great microwave

This is a great microwave. Has all the features I wanted. Would rate it a 5 but had to tape a white paper over the number pad and make dark numbers with white background due to vision problem.

The microwave works great but.....

The microwave really does work great! My only issue is that in the course of unpacking, I found a sticker stuck directly onto the control panel screen. In trying to get the sticker off, I damaged the cover of the control panel, and the damage is very noticeable to me! The sticker said something like "Please remove the protective covering before use." You would think the sticker would have been on that protective covering instead of stuck directly to the microwave.

To ensure no damage is done to the finish of the product, the safest way to remove the adhesive from packaging tape on new appliances is an application of a household liquid dishwashing detergent. Apply with a soft cloth and allow to soak. Although we don't anticipate that you'll have any further issues, know that we're always here if anything ever comes up. Thanks again! -Mikayla@GEA
