Microwave is powerful & heats/cooks fast. Negative aspect - the keypad is not lite making it somewhat difficult to operate in a dimly lte kitchen.

We really do not know how to rate it, having it only 2 days, and not using it much. the rating has to wait a little longer. The clock light is real dim and harder to read than our old GE microwave.

It's a microwave and it works. The shortcut for beverages is what I use the most. Most importantly, it was in stock when I needed to replace our dead microwave.

What's not to like?

We have only had this microwave for about a week, but have really come to appreciate its many convenience features, especially the "instant on" feature with the first six numbers on the control panel, as well as the "instant on 'Add 30 sec.'" feature. Seems to be well made and sturdy; the door has a solid feel when opening and closing with no rattling. Love the white interior! Much easier to monitor cooking progress when it's bright enough to see inside! So far, we're very pleased with this microwave, and are looking forward to a long servide life, as we've had out of earlier GE appliances we've owned. Thanks, GE, for a great product!

Good value, but

This microwave oven is nearly identical to our old GE Microware Oven, which we were happy with. However, the lettering on this new one that labels all the push buttons is more gray than white. Unless a kitchen light is hitting the front panel, it's very difficult to read it. We had to use a small flashlight to be able to read it. We ended up buying a small tool light for it. Would recommend older adults check the lighting where they will use this before buying it.
