3rd one Worked!

Purchased the first one and after popping a bag of popcorn the microwave quit working. The side of the microwave where the key pad is located was extremely hot! The second microwave was used and placed back in the box. Our Third one is working fabulously!!

Love my WHITE microwave

So far, I really like my microwave. I found out if I put something in it and don't start it, then try to start it a little later, I have to reopen the door, lift the item (even a tiny egg white frittata), then shut the door again to start it. The sensor buttons are weird, so I basically go on the time I want to set because they don't show a time, just a weird line going in an oval. I still need to check out some of the features. I basically use a microwave to heat and eat or cook basics that I already know the time. It was a great Christmas gift!

Perfect fit for our cabinet

Loved that we found a product that was WHITE and not stainless. It fit our needs completely and with the past experience with GE, we are looking forward to a long usage lifetime.

My GE Microwave

I was really excited when my spouse found this microwave to replace ours that went out just before the holidays. After putting it in, it had served my family functionally; but, we have noticed a few disadvantages. One, it did not fit the space as expected and the hunt is still in for the perfect fit. Secondly, the buttons are hard to press to get it to operate and as a result, after 2 weeks the buttons are already looking worn! Lastly, I’m a neat freak and when wiping it off with a soft cloth for the 1st time; it looked to have already been scratched or used. This microwave was $35 more than the black one I found! We keep this one because it was white and matched our older appliances, which are white. But, I’m not 100% satisfied.

It's a microwave...

It works well but not as nice as the previous GE model that it replaced. The turntable is smaller, the interior light is very dim as well as the clock light. It has the same features but the buttons are laid out differently. The door has to be opened to add cook time once the original time has timed out, (on the prior model you could just hit the cancel/stop button and restart it without opening/closing the door.
