I really like this microwave. It feels solid; doesn’t sound cheap when you use the door. It heats things fast. I like the shortcut keys too (push 2 starts 2 minute cook time). And it’s quiet!

Thanks for rating this microwave. We certainly understand your concerns with the steam and noise from this microwave. Steam and vapor from around the door while cooking is normal. This does not mean that the unit is leaking microwave energy. The door is designed to allow heat and steam to escape to prevent the overheating of the unit. Thanks for choosing GE. Mike@GEA
