Was exactly what we were looking for to replace the machine we had. Wattage and size were important features. GE brand has been lifelong reliable source.

Cooks good but ....

Cooks food nice and thorough, quiet while cooking but the user interface is frustrating. Why does it remind me to put food in before it will start causing me to open and close the door over and over even if you are just adding a few more minutes to finish it. Also door open and close is very noisy. Control panel buttons have to be pressed hard to work. I am happy with the cooking results though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very happy with the microwave. It looks nice without any “loud” appearance to buttons or gadgets, it’s quiet when plugged in, perfect size, and has all the cooking features needed and a few conveniences.
The feet are hard plastic so it slips around on the counter a bit - would be better if they were rubber.
The Reheat button gives only choices 1 or 2, with no indication on the sticker inside the door or in the manual included in the box and online what those options are for. The sticker inside the door of the machine gives 3 options for Reheat. Reheating food is probably the #1 reason I use the microwave, so this is a bit of a disappointing problem, although certainly not a reason to return it for something else.

Intuitive controls

Very easy to use. Controls are intuitive and logical both for our autistic son and his Senior Citizen parents. We love the control lock, it helps us sleep better at night.
