I can't cook chicken for longer than 3 min or the MW shuts off! Then I have to wait for about 5 minutes before it will come back on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I installed this microwave yesterday. The read out is quite faint. Hard to read in the day time unless you are standing almost right in front of it. I have to really push hard on the buttons on the touch pad for everything, numbers, functions, etc. If we were not in the midst of the pandemic, I would definitely returned it to the store, but I cannot risk going into the store. (I purchased it online with contactless curbside pickup at Lowes.) I called GE to see if the faint display for this model was normal. Tech. support had the answer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large interior, powerful

I like the roomy interior and large turntable. The controls are easy to understand. We especially like the "add 30 seconds" button because we generally us the oven to re-heat food and beverages. It has all that we hoped for (except for a right swing door which I understand does not exist).
