Right out of the box, this microwave is easy to figure out and use. Has great quick start features. Its still bulky for a countertop but we keep ours in the pantry anyway. Stainless is also hard to keep clean from fingertips but overall, the pros weigh out the cons. I would definitely recommend this microwave if you’re looking for simple and functional.

We recently did a full renovation on our kitchen and put in a small microwave cabinet. We purchased all GE appliances (which I absolutely love, by the way) and they are all in the slate color. We decided to buy the microwave in black - because it cost half as much as the slate color, would arrive weeks earlier, and would be inside the cubby anyways. We love it! The color is actually a soft black, which looks surprisingly similar to the slate. So far, I love all of my GE appliances.
