The visual display on your timer could stand to be a lot brighter. You almost have to get right up on it to see the numbers.

I purchased this microwave on an emergency basis when the control panel on my LG failed after a mere three years. There were few choices available in the store but GE has been around for many years so I took a chance on it. I've only had it for a few weeks and it's working fine but I wish it had more pre-set sensor cook features for food items like bacon and popcorn as well as for defrost options for various items. Would be nice to have suggested times printed on the inside of the door at the top of the oven. (I do miss that about the previous microwave). However, so far, so good.

Doesn't Work!

We picked up our new GE microwave yesterday that we ordered a month ago. Came home, set it up and warmed up a cup of water to make sure it worked. The interior light is very dim, almost like a nightlight. It sounded very strange when it was running...very quiet. The interior fan didn't seem to be working. I contacted GE and was told this all sounded normal. That new microwaves are very quiet. So I attempted to use it and after a few minutes, it shut itself off. I opened the door and steam came pouring out. Needless to say, this is going back for a refund. Suggest a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Express Cook Feature

It took us 3 different microwaves before we landed on one we really liked. Love this microwave! The best feature for me is the Express Cook feature (hubby likes the Micro Express option). The interior is white - lots of space inside. Digital display is green and easy to read. We highly recommend....

defective product

Very nice looking and spacious microwave. Unfortunately, the fan was hitting something metal inside of the unit, and occasionally fan did not run. This raised concerns about safety (electrical and possibly fire) so I returned the microwave to BestBuy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features, poor display

The microwave works great. I only have two complaints. Number 1: the buttons are hard to push as compared to other brands. Number 2: the LED display is beyond poor. You have to be within a foot or so to read it with LED ceiling lights in the kitchen. You cannot see it from across the kitchen and is dim at night with no lights on. GE really dropped the ball on this one.

Excellent microwave

We have used GE appliances for many years. This is a replacement for a microwave that we purchased over 20 years ago that finally gave up the ghost. We are very happy with this product.
