I like the beverage feature. I dislike the number of 'instant cook' buttons, because I can't enter 10 or 20 seconds without entering 'time cook' first.

I wanted white and large capacity yet I also got a great price. GE has always been a trusted name over my past 7 decades. I purchase my appliances by brand and GE is at the top of my list!

Great replacement for my 20 yr old GE microwave

This is very similar functionally to a 20 year old unit that finally started to not work as well. The footprint of this is smaller (takes up less counter space) even though it's equivalent space inside. My only complaint is I ordered the black and stainless steel model and it's often hard to read the buttons. I suppose over time I'll get used to where things are and it won't be an issue. Also I had to print out the manual because I had no idea how to work the "vegetables" button. (1 for fresh, 2 for frozen...)

So far, this is a good basic countertop microwave for the price paid. Disappointed that the key pad does not have any backlighting (must turn on lights to read) and the stainless steel is not smudge proof and immediately shows prints.
