fogging problem

The microwave was purchased because it would fit my cabinet opening without any changes. The 3 star rating was because of several items. An electrical plug that fits close to the wall would have been a plus feature. The most annoying problem is the door fogs up and the item in the microwave cannot be observed. Not only does the inside of the door fog up but the area between the outside and inside of the door fogs up. Wiping down the inside of the door using a paper towel with a drop of hand soap helps but the area between the two glass panels is not accessible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost perfect

I like everything about the microwave except you can only cook for increments of 1 minute or 30 seconds and nothing in between. Perhaps it can be done, but I have not figured out yet.

A solid performing microwave

We read product reviews online and choose this GE because of ratings and past microwave was a GE. Controls button press effort is higher than previous GE microwave but overall no complaints.

Gets food hot quick. But can be a little confusing at first, for example if you put food in the microwave and come back a little while latter and try starting it, you may get a message on the screen that reads "FOOD" and does not start. just open the door and close it again before starting. some kind of sensor that resets after a given time will prevent starting.
