I bought this microwave oven to replace the same one I purchased in Florida over 20 years ago. It lasts a long time and withstood several moves without breaking. It was an easy decision!!

Our third!

This is our third GE microwave. It's the best design, best value for a kitchen countertop microwave. Each one has lasted about 7-8 years, as we have moved through three homes, and through our life, as young married couple, a family with young kids, and now, our kids in college, sheltered in during the time of corona virus, cooking and making amazing meals around the clock! We will be putting the used one in our in-law unit for our airbnb!

This is the 4th or 5th GE microwave I have owned. The touch pad controls do not seem as sensitive as the previous ones I have owned and the led display is not nearly as bright making it harder to read in a well lighted kitchen

Just Waht We Needed

We bought this unit to tide us over until our over range model was replaced. We used it exclusively for about 3 weeks and found it to be a very fine unit. After the O/R model was installed, we kept this one on a nearby cart to help out when we wanted to microwave multiple items. I'd highly recommend this unit..

A step backwards

We bought this microwave because it was very similar to our other GE microwave that was more than 15 years old. Unfortunately, the old one was a better machine. In the new one, it is hard to decipher where the various function buttons are, the inner light is way too dim, and worst of all the rotating platter wobbles as it spins.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
