Great microwave

This is a terrific microwave for many reasons. It is pretty compact yet it has plenty of room inside. It has lots of power, also. I really like there is no handle to take up extra space or to pull on because we have it on an upper shelf so there is no danger of pulling it off the shelf. It has a button to push to open instead. We had tried a few other models, but they were too big for the space. As an added bonus, it was fairly inexpensive compared to other brands of the same power. Plus we trust the GE brand.

Performs well - but?

This MW replaces an older GE, the new model does not have a very bright interior light but it does perform well. The controls are not very intuititive but once you get the hang of it the oven does a very good job of reheating etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Several months ago, our old microwave went belly-up, and we bought what we thought was a good replacement. It never worked well, and wore out amazingly soon. As soon as we bought our GE, we knew this is what we should have gotten in the first place. Very good size, easy to use and works like a charm. NOW we are happy again.

Bought my second GE microwave because the first one lasted for over 20 years, in fact it still operates. Like updated looks and features of the new microwave, hope it lasts as long as the first one I bought.
