Exactly what we wanted.

The main reason I bought this microwave was it had to be a certain size to fit our cabinet. It has all of the features that we wanted and has worked up to expectations.

Bought this to replace a 22 year old microwave of another company. The units are very simular but this on is quieter and seems to heat better. I would have given it 5 stars but wanted to wait and see how it holds up. I realy like the interior finish for easy cleanup. Only thing I didn't like were the feet it was easy to roll around the counter maybe thats good or I missed something. I put it on silicone drawer liner that worked great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent microwave

I have had no problems with this microwave. It has plenty of functions for me. Only problems I've had are the buttons have a plastic coting over them which smears some when my roomate presses the buttons (but not so much when I press them).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I needed a new microwave to replace one that suddenly stopped working (that I had for years and really loved). I bought it because it met the basic criteria of sufficient wattage, it was white and it fit in the fixed space that I had.
It does the basics ok, but that is about it. I find the touch pad insensitive and somewhat difficult to use. I miss some of the auto cook options I had on my old unit (like bacon). It is very dark inside, you cannot monitor your food to see if it is boiling over through the window (I do not know why the inside of the window is black--it makes the whole oven dark, even when the door is open). The GE emblem on the face of the unit is poorly placed--it looks totally off center and is very distracting.
Even after about 5-6 weeks of nearly daily use, I still miss my old microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had several GE microwaves and all have performed well with one exception and that was only it's longevity. GE stood behind that short lived product and is in the process of replacing it.
