Does not work properly- shuts off in all functions before completion. and gets very hot on top right side for 12 minutes before I can try using it again. GE service says it is unrepeatable - working to get another replacement

I don’t know how else to say it, I plugged it in. Gave it the required 3 inch space all around and after using it 4 times the thing just blew. Least to say I found this microwave to be quite disappointing.

It functions, but is not of the quality we had come to expect from GE appliances. This unit was bought to replace a similar GE microwave that provided years of good service, was larger, and more powerful for approximately the same cost.

For the most part it works ok. Inside light is way too dim. Defrost based on weight for .2 lbs comes up as almost 2 minutes when my old one for the same weight would be about 23 seconds. Have to press hard on the controls. I would not buy again and if it wasn't for the pandemic I would have returned it.

Miss the old one

Replaced another GE that “passed on”. Really loved former! New one: interior light very dim, smooth buttons are hard to push and text is super tiny and hard to read.

Personal upgrade

When our previously reliable microwave failed after 10 years, we hoped to find one comparable. Instead we found one of the same size externally, but with larger cooking compartment, more features and virtually the same price as the oven it replaced. A pleasant surprise in this day and age!

First one broke, second one doing good

We really like the size, appearance, functions. First unit broke less than a month after we got it. I think it was a faulty switch in the door. The place we bought it gave us another one to replace it. That one is doing great.
