My previous F & P Single DishDrawer Tall model told me how many minutes on the display. I miss this. This new model seems to have a pump which is slightly noisy, but it cleans nicely. I was not able to figure out how to reduce the amount of RinseAid that each cycle uses.

This is the second Fisher & Paykel dishwasher I’ve had. The first one was a double drawer and this the larger single drawer. The first was purchased in 2006 because of the drawer concept. When I recent built a smaller home I decided to go with the larger one drawer version. It is so quiet and performs wonderfully. Because I’m in a much small home it works out so well that you don’t have to drop down the door to load and unload. Would highly recommend

👉We chose the dishwasher as a space saver. There are 2 of us, after all. But all the cycles take too long to go through, even fast. We have to wait too long to use them for our next meal. If the cycle does finish then if we want to use our dishes they have to be dried. ☹️ I wouldn't mind that if I could "opt out" of the drying cycle but it's part of the process and not useful at all. It's a waste of electricity. ☹️The racks aren't adjustable enough either. We've taken most of them out and just use it as an overly expensive drying rack.👉 It's helpful that we don't eat meats or oil, just plants 🌱 that wash up easily but I wish I had saved my money. 💰 😡 Installation was a nightmare too. The instructions and video were practically worthless. 👎There was no details of certain sections, we ended up with 2 long L shaped pieces of metal that weren't in the booklet or mentioned on the video. I couldn't find any help online about what they were for so they're in our garage. 🤷🏼 I also hate stainless steel. 😝 It's so cold and industrial and such an eyesore in my cozy kitchen. It was the only option tho' so I'm stuck. 🥳The one good thing that came out of our purchase was because we removed our 24" to put this in, we have storage room at the bottom. 🙂
