This is my second purchase of a Conair curling iron. I also have the 1&1/2inch barrel. They work very well. I just wish they would come with teeth replacements. To explain the teeth get brittle after awhile & break off so it would be nice to have replacements like Hot Tools did with their curling iron.

I have been using Conair hot brushes for YEARS and I've never been disappointed. The last one has been in use for over 9 years. It still works great but it has lost a few bristles and I can't seem to clean the barrel. My new one heats up faster and I don't have to use it on the highest setting. Great for my very fine hair.

I find it is too slick to hold my fine hair and even though I set the brush on its lowest setting and it still burns my hand when I try and hold the hair to prevent it from slipping off the brush.

While this item is good, it does not have the length in the bristles I expected.
I purchased a similar Conair hot brush years ago but has finally lost some power & many of its bristles.
The difference between them is the length of the bristles, the former being just a bit longer which I was expecting in the new one. So while I can still use the new one, I really wish the bristles were the same, longer length as the old one.
