Haven't been satisfied with product since purchase

Purchased July 2016. Have had to have 2 icemakers installed. Very noisy. Gaskets on doors are turning pink. Not sure what is going on with that. Have always had GE refrigerators. Warranty will soon be up.

Ice maker can't seem to find temp to produce a larger amount of Ice, (fill tray), no light in freezer portion,

Although the refrigerator does its job, organizing the food is challenging. For starters, you must bend down in order to access anything inside. Also, few choices exist to move shelves up or down, so that you are limited to particular spaces for tall items, such as milk or juice containers.
The top freezer freezes the food well, however the shelf inside does not support too many heavy items. After placing about 14 quart containers of frozen food on the shelf, the shelf dislodged.
Overall, it is now really user friendly. Other than that, it does its job.

No Freezer Light Indicated on Spec's

I am upset that I needed to be aware of no freezer light indicated anywhere on the spec's or anywhere for the refrigerator/freezer I received. I had a freezer 30 years old or slightly older that had a light in the freezer and even before that I never had a refrigerator/freezer that did not have a light so I wasn't aware of I purchased one with no light in the freezer. In this day and age how weird!!! I have always trusted General Electric for having the best appliance possible and have always thought them to be up front with descriptions, now I know better. How unfortunate for me to trust since I grew up with all GE products.

The refrigerator is fine except for two items. Inside the freezer door had small frozen drops hanging off the rubber seal. They appear to be gone. When opening the refrigerator door, one has to bend down to put items into the refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decent Fridge

I had to take out the middle shelf because I couldn't stand anything up. Even a gallon of milk wouldn't fit. Also, I don't like that the dial for the temp is right in the front because my child keeps messing with it. Freezer is nice and big but the ice just clumps up when it's made.
