Gladiator freezer problem

Would not recommend this unit. Ice builds up on the inside and blocks the cooling. Then it dies like mine did.

Awful! Inconsistent cooling! Biggest waste of $!

We bought this freezer about 5 years ago. We got about 2 solid years out of it and since then, It has been nothing but problems. I have lost so much food using this freezer. It’s beyond disappointing bc we decided to spend more and get this large and nice looking freezer and it just doesn’t work consistently. It can be frozen solid and then all of the sudden the temperature rises, all my food thaws and goes bad. DON NOT purchase this freezer. You will be disappointed! I’ve lost so much money in wasted food! Which obviously defeats the purpose!

Bad compressor not wirth it.

This freezer only lasted 1 year before the compressor died. The repair cost is more than the freezer itself. It literally only made it out of it's manufacturer warranty period by about 10 days.

its 4 years old & this is the second time it has frosted up on me. First time we installed new controller, this time i dont know yet. They should send a blow dryer with these units cause you are gonna need one

I was surprised at how quickly the freezer delivered. I had two dedicated outlets added to my garage (bought the fridge also) to make sure the appliance could run efficiently - so far, so good even in 100+ degree temps. Excellent space in the freezer and the foot pedal is very convenient.
