Freezer was DOA

Gladiator's quality control is lacking. First of all, I had to wait months for this freezer to be delivered but that is not unexpected with the world in lock down. When the freezer was finally delivered yesterday it did not work. It will not cool at all. In fact after 24 hours the freezer is warmer than the garage in Texas. There's no way this should have gotten past either Whirlpool or Gladiator's quality control but it did and now I'm having to wait over a week to get a repairman out here to figure out what is wrong with this brand new unused unit.... Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought at Lowe’s via special order. They delivered Not assembled and dropped it in my garage and said they didn’t know how to assemble. I had to call the store and make them come back out and assemble. Not really a gladiator issue but dont use a box store for this freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this upright freezer so much! The matte black design is cool and sleek and the fact that it’s on castors is just cool, although I haven’t been wheeling it around my garage. It looks great in my garage and doesn’t take up too much space. There is plenty of shelving, baskets, and storage in the door as well. i thought the foot pedal to open was sort of silly, but it’s actually really convenient and my kids love it too. The freezer got cold surprisingly fast after setting it up. There are 3 temperature setting which is a nice feature. We have been using the deep freeze option and our food is fantastically frozen. Every time we open the freezer and close it you hear it working to get back to the right temperature quickly. I would recommend this freezer to everyone I know.

It took an extremely long time to get them…. Hopefully they’ve remedied that by now. Both the freezer and refrigerator have performed properly now for 18 months without issue. The foot plate is extremely handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow...this garage freezer is fantastic! It is rugged but stylish. We love the foot step feature, makes opening the freezer with your arms full of groceries a breeze. In addition to keep foods super cold, the design allows for convenient access to items and ee absolutely love the number of drawers and compartments to put things in. We would absolutely recommend this freezer to anyone!!!

Bought 1/22. 08/22, not cooling. Everything lost!

I bought this freezer January of 2022. August 2nd, 2022 I go to get something out of the freezer to cook, and everything is thawed out and ruined! Absolutely not cooling. The thought of the amount of ruined meat sickens me. I have a call into Whirlpool to put in a warranty claim. Let's see what happens. Extremely extremely upset.
