Very Sound Equipment

I purchased the machine for home office use and find it to be all that I expected from Brother. The printer is quick, color is accurate, and is a great addition to my other Brother products.

So far so good. Good color quality, great black & white printing. Handles file folder labels and envelopes well. It does curl the pages some as it prints and is a bit loud when printing but it quiets down quickly. In all, we're very happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Printing from Adobe - NO help from brothe

Printing from Microsoft office programs are fine but printing from any Adobe programs yields extremely low res prints (text and images). It's so bad even texts appears pixely (actual file res makes no difference). I've owned multiple printer of various qualities, and I've been using photoshop and other adobe software for over a decade and have never had this issue. I was on the phone with Brother support for over an hour, sent in samples to them, and they responded that everything is working normally which I know is pure ignorance from the tech person working there. I can't get any help and the printer is basically useless to me for everything except printing form MicroOffice software

Worst Purchase Ever

We purchased a HL-L830CDW about 6 months ago and it is so cheaply made that I would not recommend this product for any business. We purchased it to print labels for our business and the labels are constantly getting jammed in machine and print wrong. The guides for the labels to go in keep coming apart and have to stop after every page and fix problem. It is truly a piece of junk...

Consistent & High Quality

I bought this printer to reduce my personal printing cost over the ridiculous ink jet cartridge cost. I've only had this printer for a couple months but the quality for my family printing is excellent and consistent. This prnter can print pictures well but is not meant to be a replacement for a photo printer. Enjoy, it's a good printer that will have long term savings.

I love my Brother laser printer HL-L8350! The printing is clear and doesn't smudge and it seems like I do not have to order print cartridges very often. The other brands I have used always smudged and I was always ordering print cartridges. I highly recommend this printer.

Ok for forms and simple jobs

This printer is very easy to use. No wires, just the electrical plug is all thats needed, as you can print wirelessly over wifi.
Black and white prints are ok and works great for regular forms and office document printing.

Color image prints are terrible. It uses regular CMYK process, but the application of the colors on the paper creates useless results.
The printer is unable to resolve gradations adequately, and black consists of fine lines that vary in thickness, not the fine dots you would expect from the raster image process. The result is really bad to look at.
