I needed a stand mixer with a strong motor that can handle a decent amount of pizza dough. Kneaded it perfectly and my pizza never tasted so good. Love it. So far I’ve only used it to make pizza dough but there’s no doubt, this is a workhorse. Next is bread, then definitely on to cakes and pastries which I’ve never attempted before in my life but looking forward to it. This makes everything look easy.

Improved my life

I've had my mixer for a year and a half now. It has really improved my life. I use it for all sorts of recipes from very tough bread doughs, to whipping eggs and making buttercream. I love it and will never not have a stand mixer again. Instead of taking hours to make one cake or item, I can make 3 or 4 in the same time. Only concern I have is the motor can something have a burning smell, only on very tough large doughs. It can also move a lot when making these doughs. Other than that it's works extremely well and it's made with very high quality parts.

It is my very first Kitcheaid. I'm using it for bread making. Love it! Does not take too much space on the bench and stable when mixing large load, quiet, mix dough really well ( max 3 kg of mixed dough), easy to operate (changing attachments and placing bowl). Quality of my bread improved a lot.

Good machine but has a few quirks. Connecting the bowl to the unit is a design flaw. The sugar sinks to the bottom of the bowl when making Meringues so it doesn’t fully dissolve.

I love the size and performance of this mixer, however I am still not use to attaching the bowl - clicking it in at the back and it is not getting any easier. I find it clumsy to remove the beater/s without making a mess. I wish it came with a decent book, and I am not sure if my existing attachments will fit this mixer or not. However, it is a joy to use and I would certainly buy it again.
