Superbe performance

I've had this machine about a year and am very satisfied. It will create bread, pasta and pizza dough very well and in large quantity if needed. Also mashes potatoes and whips cream with consummate ease. I have also purchased a series of attachments and they compliment utility very well. This machine will be working for many years. Construction of this machine is impressive; it's all metal and so are all the mechanical components. Kitchenaid are one of the few companies which will supply parts if it needs repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the large 6.9l bowl lift because I make lots of bread and pizzas and wanted to make large batches. I had few hiccups at the beginning as the mixer was vibrating when mixing the dough so I contacted kitchenaid they were pretty attentive they said that for bread dough the mixer needs to be on speed 2 not more. So I took this advice on board and it seems to be doing a decent job. I can mix a kilo or 2 kilo of flour pretty comfortable in the bowl . So far very happy with it.

Powerful Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the large lift up bowl model with 500 watt motor and pleased to report that it easily copes with all my dough kneading requirements. The dough hook really does the job due to its shape and only need to scrape the side of the bowl down once, usually. I have used it most days since I got it. It’s quite stiff to get the bowl off the 3 connector points and takes quite a considerable push upwards to get it off but this also makes it sit very securely when mixing heavy dough with no movement of the bowl. Love how the motor starts slowly at first so no cloud of flour dust or flicking of dough. Have not used the balloon whisk as yet but the mixer attachment does a great job of mixing. Ingredients get incorporated really quickly. I had the kenwood wood chef major titanium before this and have to say the kitchen aid mixer is fantastic. Very happy with this mixer.

I love the sturdy machine and was surprised how compact it is and also how quiet - it no longer triggers Siri on my watch lol
