Powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already owned a KA before but it broke down after 14 years. I was looking for a bigger one and was thinking of buying the other famous brand. But upon testing it, it didn't match the power of my old KA. So I decided to get Kitchenaid again and I was so happy with my purchased. It's more powerful than my old one and its a lot bigger, and she's such a beauty. I'm so glad I chose Kitchenaid again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the pro mixer for my husband who makes pizza dough and fresh pasta. It’s amazing! But I still love my artisan for my everyday baking!

Functionality and features is everything!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi there, everybody (including the Kitchen Aid Engineers)!
I have been on the lookout for a great kneading machine for bread for a while. This is why I purchased the Pro Line over a Standard mixer, because it has a 500W motor instead of the 300W in a Standard mixer.
Using the mixer in bread making with the kneading spiral attachment is the best option, even though the kneading hook also does a decent job.
Here a couple of ideas for making it even better:
- it would be great if the mixer also had a reverse function, as the dough can "ride up" the spiral when it is before its best consistency. Without a reverse function you have to stop the machine and manually push the dough back down the spiral.
- also, it would be a great feature to have a "standard stop" position at the front of the machine, where attachments are easier to handle than at the back. This could be implemented in the same way window wipers on a car don't come to rest in the middle of the windscreen
- with the latter in mind and safety being a consideration (these machines are gear driven and very powerful), a safety "Off" button, mounted right on top of the machine is a "must have" !!!
- finally - and I'm really getting picky here - it would be very helpful if the bowl elevator could be custom locked in different positions, instead of only either all the way up or down
I would really be keen to have your feedback on these ideas!
Cheers, Wolf
